Magnolia High School Food Science student Stephanie Simpson (left) and Culinary Arts student Cynthia Luke (right) designed and constructed a cake for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Tomball Magnolia Montgomery Metro Go Texan Committee. The cake was auctioned off at the committee’s annual Denim & Diamonds dance held recently at the Tomball VFW. Their cake sold for $300 and the total raised from all the cakes donated was $1350.
