Tomball High to hold graduation June 8

Tomball High School will hold its 2013 commencement ceremony June 8, at Reed Arena, on the campus of Texas A&M University, at 9 a.m. No tickets are required for the event and graduating seniors may bring as many guests as they wish. For more information visit wwwtomballisd.net.

TISD to honor retiring superintendent May 22

The Tomball ISD Board of Trustees is inviting the public to an open house and reception honoring Superintendent John Neubauer, May 22, from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the John P. Neubauer Administration Building, 310 S. Cherry St. Neubauer is retiring in June, after 46 years with the district. For details call 281-357-3100.

Magnolia Fun Run benefits scholarship fund

Ellisor Elementary won first place in the Magnolia Educators Scholarship Fun Run, while second place went to Magnolia Elementary and third to Nichols Sawmill Elementary. Approximately 300 students and parents participated in the event, which helps provide scholarships to Magnolia ISD graduates who plan to study education in college.
