Law Enforcement Report for the Week of Sept. 17

Tomball PD

Sept. 17 - Detective Yoho responded to a theft in the 30700 block of Tomball Pkwy., where an excavator valued at $40,000 was stolen.

Sept. 19 - Officer Burns arrested a 27-year-old man from Tomball for Assault Family Violence. At 8:45 p.m., Burns responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of South Pine. Upon investigation, Burns discovered that the suspect had assaulted his common law wife.

Sept 18 - Officer Burns arrested a 23-year-old man from Pinehurst for Criminal Mischief. At 5:45 p.m., Burns responded to a criminal mischief call in the 27600 block of Tomball Pkwy. Burns discovered that the suspect had punctured a vehicle’s tires at that location.

Sept. 20 - Officer Barrera responded to a Burglary of a Building in the 200 block of South Oak, where a business was broken into, but no items were stolen.

Sept. 21 - Officer Ramsey arrested a 57-year-old woman, a 52-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, all from Tomball, for Illegal Gambling. At 10 p.m., Ramsey conducted a warrant service in the 600 block of West Main and arrested the suspects for participating in illegal gambling observed at that location.

Sept. 21 - Officer Tikal arrested a 41-year-old man from Stafford, for Illegal Gambling. At 10 p.m., Tikal conducted a warrant service in the 100 block of Ella and arrested the suspect for participating in illegal gambling observed at that location.

Sept. 21 - Officer Rodriguez arrested a 45-year-old man from Spring and a 50-year-old woman from Magnolia, for Illegal Gambling.  At 10 p.m., Rodriguez conducted a warrant service in the 23200 block of Snook and arrested the suspects for participating in illegal gambling observed at that location.

Sept. 21 – Sgt. Gorman arrested a 48-year-old man from Spring, for Illegal Gambling. At 10 p.m., Gorman conducted a warrant service in the 15200 block of FM 2920 and arrested the suspects for participating in illegal gambling observed at that location.

Sept. 21 - Officer White arrested a 35-year-old man from Spring for Displaying a Fictitious Motor Vehicle Inspection Sticker.  At around noon White conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of West Main and observed a fictitious inspection sticker displayed on the vehicle.

Magnolia PD

Sept. 19 - Officer Diaz conducted a traffic stop on Sixth Street. The female driver was arrested for Driving While License Invalid and for warrants out of the City of Magnolia. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Sept. 21 - Officer Diaz took a report of a theft of a farmers market sign. The report was forwarded to investigations.

Sept. 22 - Officer Menchaca conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of South Magnolia Blvd. The 34-year-old male was arrested for felony Driving While Intoxicated with child passenger. The male was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Sept. 23 - Sgt. Montgomery conducted a traffic stop on FM 1488. The 20-year-old male driver from Hockley was arrested for an active warrant and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Sept. 23 - Det Clack conducted a traffic stop on Misty Meadow. A 20-year-old male from Hockley was arrested for an active warrant out of Montgomery County and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Sept. 24 - Sgt. Lopez conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Magnolia Blvd. A 42-year-old female was arrested for an active warrant out of Harris County and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Montgomery Co. Sheriff’s Office

Sept. 18 - Deputy Wilkerson was dispatched to a disturbance on Winchester Drive. Upon further investigation it was learned that one person waved a handgun around, which  alarmed others. A 52-year-old female from Magnolia was taken into custody.

Sept. 18 - Deputy Thomas saw a vehicle traveling north on SH 249 with an expired registration. After stopping the vehicle the driver, a 33-year-old male, was found to have an active warrant for an unpaid traffic offense. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was taken into custody.

Sept. 18 - Sgt. Sumrall conducted a traffic stop on Glen Loch Drive. Upon approaching the vehicle, Sumrall noticed the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.  The passenger in the vehicle, a 32-year-old female from Tomball, was found to have a small amount of marijuana. The suspect was taken into custody.

Sept. 19 - while on patrol Deputy Mittag saw a vehicle parked in front of a closed business on SH 249.   Mittag spoke with a 30-year-old male inside the vehicle. The deputy found a small amount of cocaine inside the vehicle. The suspect was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and the 22-year-old female with him was taken into custody for an active warrant for Possession of Marijuana.

Sept. 19 - Deputy Durbin, while conducting a traffic stop at Misty Meadow and Pine Bark, was advised by dispatch that there was an active felony warrant out of Harris County for the driver of the vehicle. The 40-year-old male was arrested and taken to jail.

Sept. 21 – Sgt. Kader was dispatched to Turiff Circle, in reference to a prowler. Dispatch advised a male was knocking at the door of the homeowner who did not know him. The suspect had fallen asleep on the porch when Kader arrived. The suspect thought he thought he was at a friend’s home. He was arrested for public intoxication.

Sept. 21 - Deputy Provenzano was near SH 249 and Hardin Store Road, when a witness told him that an intoxicated driver was at nearby gas station. Provenzano went to the store and spoke with a 24-year-old female. He found that the suspect had an active warrant for her arrest, for Failure to Appear. The subject was taken into custody for the warrant.

Sept. 21 - Deputy Allen was dispatched to Tisdel Road in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, a male came running out of the woods and told the deputy that someone was chasing him. Allen saw a truck driving down Tisdel and the witness advised that was who was chasing him. Allen stopped the truck and identified the driver as a 39-year-old male. Allen found a small amount of crack cocaine in the truck. The suspect was placed into custody for Felony Possession of Cocaine.

Sept. 22 - Deputy Blackwelder responded to a shoplifter at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect, a 72-year-old female, attempted to take $389.51 worth of merchandise from Macy’s Department Store. In addition, $74.24 worth of merchandise was damaged when security tags were removed by the suspect.  The suspect was taken into custody for Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
