Chamber honors Tomball police officers

 

Two Tomball Police Department officers were recognized as the Officers of the Month at the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce First Friday Networking Luncheon, recently. Officer Tuan Nguyen and Officer Brandon Patin were credited for outstanding service by Tomball Police Cpt. Rick Grassi in helping to solve a copper theft while on patrol. Officer of the Month is sponsored by Woodforest National Bank. Pictured are (from left) Grassi, Nguyen, Patin and Debbie Gray of Woodforest National Bank.

Vossler chosen as GTACC Ambassador of the Year

 

Jim Vossler of Print Plus was selected as the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce (GTACC) 2012 Ambassador of the Year. Each year the Chamber's volunteer ambassadors select one of their own to receive this award in recognition of outstanding service. GTACC holds ribbon cutting for Nonnie's Soda Fountain

 

Nonnie's Soda Fountain, located at 102 Market St. in Tomball, recently joined the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce. The chamber welcomed its new member with a ribbon cutting. Nonnie's is a old-fashioned soda fountain featuring hand-spun shakes and sundaes made with Hank's Ice Cream, the second leading ice cream in the U.S. For hours call 281-516-1942.
