One man has been arrested in connection to the Oct. 12 murder of a mobile food vendor operator in northwest Harris County. Investigators are asking for the public's help in locating at least one other suspect.
John Ray Aycock was arrested Oct. 21 by members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitives Task Force and is currently in the Harris County Jail with no bond.
Investigators are actively looking for a second suspect, Adrian Gomez, and are asking for the public's help in locating him.
Both Aycock and Gomez are charged with the capital murder of Lorenzo Juan Vasquez. Vasquez was shot and killed Oct. 12 at his mobile food truck. Robbery appears to be the motive.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Adrian Gomez is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the arrest of the suspect in this case. All tipsters remain anonymous.
